This past weekend, renowned poet Rupi Kaur returned home to Toronto for her Homecoming show! Mani Jassal had the honour of dressing the famous poet, or in other words, her close friend. Rupi treated the audience to pieces from her best selling books, Milk and Honey, and her newest book, The Sun and Her Flowers. Although Rupi has gained fans from across the globe, returning home to an audience full of friends and family is truly a unique experience. Many familiar faces were seen throughout the night. Brand ambassador KayRay and close friend of Rupi’s supported the poet throughout the night. KayRay is also dressed in Mani Jassal. The Lumier Dress was the perfect choice for the important event. Lumier, meaning light, is an intricately beaded gown that delivers in elegance and art. We feel so proud and grateful to be apart of this special night!
